The P+ARTS project, funded by the European Union - Next Generation EU (PNRR), promotes interdisciplinary artistic research by integrating art, technology, and sustainability. It involves AFAM institutions and Italian universities to create an innovative ecosystem fostering creative excellence with a scientific approach.

The first volume from P+ARTS ACADEMY PRESS, published in May 2026.
Published by Quodlibet in both print and Open Access editions, the volume is the first in the P+ARTS series, which will comprise twelve additional volumes, including monographs, conference proceedings, edited volumes, and project books.
This volume, resulting from the symposium of the same name held on April 3 and 4, 2025, at the “E. R. Duni” Conservatory in Matera, focuses on reflections on the concept of the map, understood as a cultural and interpretive tool.

27 October: National Networwing for Italian Higher Education in Art, Music and Dance Institutions (AFAM) and Italian Artistic Research (AR).
28 – 29 October: International Conference with double-blind peer-reviewed process. P+ARTS presents the first international double-blind peer-reviewed process conference dedicated to Artistic Research.

The Project
P+ARTS promotes excellence in artistic research in Italy by supporting young talents through an innovative ecosystem focused on ecological transition and digital transformation. This interdisciplinary project integrates art, technology, and sustainability, involving prestigious AFAM institutions (Higher Artistic, Musical, and Choreutic Education) and public universities.

The Partners
