Esercitazioni di Guerrilla Narrativa di Marco Armiero

ABANA, in collaborazione con IAAD e CONSMT, presenta “Esercitazioni di Guerrilla Narrativa” di Marco Armiero, che si terrà il 28 aprile 2025 presso la sede di Napoli, con diretta streaming sulla piattaforma VIRTUAL LAB.
Viviamo nel Wasteocene, un’epoca definita non solo dall’accumulo di rifiuti materiali, ma dalla diffusione di relazioni di scarto: dinamiche sociali, economiche ed ecologiche che creano esclusione e sfruttamento a vantaggio di pochi. Questa realtà genera una tossicità narrativa, fatta di storie e silenzi che mascherano l’ingiustizia sistemica. Seguendo l’intuizione del collettivo Wu Ming, il workshop esplorerà il concetto di Infrastruttura Narrativa Tossica (INT): una rete invisibile che influenza ciò che possiamo fare e persino immaginare.
Il workshop introdurrà i/le partecipanti a questi concetti, fornendo strumenti critici per riconoscere e analizzare l’INT. Attraverso pratiche di Guerrilla Narrativa, si analizzeranno strategie per sovvertire i racconti egemonici e restituire visibilità, dignità e complessità a ciò che il Wasteocene ha tentato di cancellare.

We live in the Wasteocene, an era defined not only by the accumulation of material waste but also by the spread of waste relations: social, economic, and ecological dynamics that produce exclusion and exploitation for the benefit of a few. This reality generates a form of narrative toxicity, made of stories and silences that conceal systemic injustice. Following an intuition of the Wu Ming collective, the workshop will explore the concept of Toxic Narrative Infrastructure (TNI): an invisible network that shapes what we can do and even what we can imagine.

The workshop will introduce participants to these concepts, providing critical tools to recognize and analyse TNI. Through practices of Narrative Guerrilla, participants will examine strategies for subverting hegemonic narratives and restoring visibility, dignity, and complexity to what the Wasteocene has attempted to erase.
